Tips for restaurants in Trani

As luck would have it, many restaurants were closed during our off-season visit to Trani in late March. However, relying on Google’s guidance, we chose Corte Bianchi restaurant, and it was a spectacular dining experience.

We started with the delicious Bruschetta porchetta – an Italian appetizer featuring crispy bread, succulent porchetta (slow-roasted pork), savory herbs, garlic, and olive oil, transporting our taste buds to Italy.

Our main course, recommended by the polite server, was the mouthwatering Tortelli azuki pistachio mortadella and delightful spaghetti norcia e noci with pomodoro olive.

The exceptional flavors and presentation of the dishes, coupled with the warm ambiance and impeccable service at Corte Bianchi, left us satisfied. Trusting Google was a decision we didn’t regret, and this hidden culinary gem was definitely worth the visit.

📌Note: Please note that in addition to the menu prices, Corte Bianchi restaurant also charges a “coperto” fee, which covers the necessities prepared for each guest’s place on the table or a service fee. It’s important to note that this is not considered an official tip, and if you are satisfied with the service, you may choose to leave a gratuity for the waiter separately.

We had a delightful dining experience at Corte Bianchi, enjoying delicious food, and drinks (including 2 beers), and paying the coperto fee and tip, totaling €50. The exceptional quality of the culinary offerings and service made it truly worthwhile.

No matter which restaurant you choose in Trani, Italy, make sure to try the traditional dish of “tiella” – a baked pie with layers of rice, mussels, potatoes, and tomato sauce, and local seafood specialties, such as freshly caught fish, octopus, and mussels, prepared in traditional Apulian style.

Other recommended restaurants to savor the local flavors include Trattoria Romana, Osteria Del Porto, Antichi Sapori and Il Portale dei Sapori, where you can indulge in delicious seafood dishes while enjoying the scenic coastal ambiance.
